Daily Monitors!
July 11th, 2011 by courtneyOver this past weekend, we released the newest version of the TRAACKR A-List Platform and made some very exciting improvements to our Influencer Monitors. Check it out!
Daily Monitors
As of this week, our Influencer Monitors will now report daily activity from your influencers. You no longer have to wait an entire week to get the data on your Monitor keywords because every morning when you log in to TRAACKR, you’ll be able to see all the activity created by the influencers on your list from the previous day. More data faster means you can be much more effective at managing your campaigns.
When you look at your Monitors, you will still see the data presented in the same weekly format, but the data from the current week will show as partial week and displays any posts/mentions generated up to that point. So, if you are viewing the current week in the Monitor and you see 33 posts listed, this means that there are 33 posts for this week-to-date.
Filter your Monitors
With this latest release we have enhanced your ability to filter your Monitors as well. We understand that being able to filter your Monitors by a variety of criteria is very important and allows you to be very strategic around your influencer monitoring activities. So now you can:
- filter your Monitors by specific keywords or sets of keywords
- filter your Monitors by different groups of influencers
- filter your Monitors by both keywords and influencers!
Filtering by keywords
You can now dig into any single, or group of keywords in your Monitor. If you want to see the performance of a single keyword, you can simply click on the keyword (just like you could before this release).
However, if you’d like to see the results of a select group of keywords, you can do that as well. Simply check the keywords you want to see as a group and click the Refresh button. Your Monitor will be filtered to show you only the influencers and posts containing those keywords.
Filtering by Influencers
Even more powerful is your ability to see the performance/mentions by any specific, or group of specific influencers. To see a Monitor chart based on the performance of a single influencer, simply click on that influencer’s name and the Monitor will show only performance from that single influencer.
If you’d like to narrow the results of your Monitor by a select group of influencers, you can simply check the influencers you want to see and click Refresh OR you can…
…select a group of influencers that you have tagged on your A-List (if you don’t know how to tag your influencers, you should read here). This function is very powerful. If you want to see the posts generated by the people you tagged as ‘fans’ or ‘outreach targets’, etc, simply select the tag you want to track from the drop-down menu and your Monitor will be filtered by that tag. This allows you to compare the activity from various groups of influencers very quickly and easily. Powerful stuff!
You can also filter your Monitor by the influencers you have Starred as well. Same way — just select Starred from the drop down menu and you are all set.
Filtering by keywords AND influencers
Finally, you can now combine multiple filters to your Monitors. For example, if you only want to see when the people you invited to the party mentioned specific keywords, you can now do that by selecting the specific keywords as well as a specific group of influencers.
The best way to filter the web
For a long time, we have been saying that our Influencer Monitors were the most efficient (and effective) way to monitor the web. By creating a Monitor in TRAACKR, you are able to filter the web by the people that matter most to you — when they mention the keywords you care about. This allows you to focus your monitoring efforts, saving an enormous amount of time, energy & frustration.
And now, as of this past weekend, we have taken these Monitors to the next level. Enjoy and, as always, let us know if you have any comments, suggestions or ideas for further enhancement.
Thanks!
